In recent years, the litigation landscape has seen the rise of International Commercial Courts (ICommCs) to adjudicate complex and cross-border commercial cases. Yet, despite their rapid spread worldwide, ICommCs remain relatively unknown outside the small circle of dispute resolution practitioners, lawyers, and students who have specifically studied them. This project aims to contribute to greater awareness of ICommCs and the many legal implications they bring.

This landing page also serves as a repository, offering a starting point for research on the topic. Although we aim to make it comprehensive, it is not (and probably never will be) complete, as materials on ICommCs continue to grow daily.

The project.

Let me introduce myself: my name is Angelo Tibaldero, I am a law student at Luigi Bocconi University in Milan.

I discovered the existence of the ICommC almost by chance. During a dispute resolution course assignment, I came across a footnote that referred to these strange entities, halfway between courts and arbitral tribunals. Intrigued, I began researching the subject, to the point where it became the topic of my thesis.

While working on my thesis, I immediately noticed that sources on the subject—whether articles, books, interviews, or podcasts—are scattered all over the Internet. This is where the project you are viewing comes from: I intend to make life easier for those who want to delve into the topic, sparing them months of online searching to find a few sources.
